She is an experienced consultant, business coach and catalyst for positive change. She provides services that support clients in establishing a clear strategic direction and developing relationships that deliver real, demonstrable value for parties involved.
Gillian has extensive experience in developing business relationships to ensure an effective result. She has developed business partnerships, been involved in (and accountable for) outsourcing and large complex relationships, including alliances between large NZ and Global corporations.
She has worked with companies in IT and Telecommunications, Power and Gas, Water and Road infrastructure, Government, Oil, Dairy Industry, Health and Investments. Her experience in Australia and the UK, and living in Singapore for a period, has given her a broad understanding of different cultures and business environments.
Gillian developed the unique value management methods and tools as part of her Masters Degree study at Auckland University, where she explored the issues of managing Value in Alliance ventures. These methods and tools have been developed and used effectively in organisations of all sizes and a variety of partnership types.
Gillian is a business mentor with Mentor NZ; and a Judge on the Auckland North Business Excellence Awards. She is also involved with, and Chairs, local Community Groups.
She shares her experience through training courses run in NZ and in Asia. Topics include: Strategic Partnering; Sustainable Collaboration; Strategic Thinking, Planning and Execution; Strategic Competitive Analysis.
In her consulting practice Gillian works with individual executives and with teams of people from within, and across, organizations. Her many years experience in Strategy Development and Implementation, along with facilitation of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances, give her a unique understanding about the challenges businesses face.
Gillian has an ability to retain clarity and a ‘higher level’ strategic perspective, so that people are able to grasp issues simply without becoming lost in detail. Everything she does is based on the principle of sustainability, as that adds the most value for stakeholders.
